Meet your bartender of the month, Nkuli Khanyile.

Hi, I am Nkuli Khanyile and I am a mixologist at a mobile bar company called Molecular Bars. I have been in the industry for about 4 years now. I started off my bartending industry just to look for a way of earning extra money whilst studying and quickly fell in love with the industry and science behind making a delicious drink.

The drinks industry is a place in which I can explore and get creative with different types of ingredients that are both familiar and unfamiliar. My flavour combinations are usually inspired by the food industry from chefs such as Heston Blumenthal and Marry Barry! My tip for making a good cocktail at home is to keep it simple and always have some element of sweet, sour and bitter in order to make a balanced drink.
